KIDCO has been hosting several meetings for the Miami Children's Initiative Early Development and Care of Children Workgroup. The purpose of this workgroup is to provide strategies and recommendations for this Children's Initiative project for the Liberty City area. This is a state funded project whose main goal is "to assist disadvantaged areas within the state in creating a community-based service network that develops, coordinates, and provides quality education, accessible health care, youth development programs, opportunities for employment, and safe and affordable housing for children and families living within its boundaries."
   
The KIDCO Express was designed to communicate with Parents about the upcoming activities we have planned at KIDCO and is updated on a Monthly basis. The KIDCO Express is available in English and in Spanish. Parents like to know what their kids do during the day. This is our opportunity to list and describe the
different activities we provide.
